The GAC AION Y Plus is a practical, family-focused electric crossover built on GAC Aion's dedicated EV platform. A 63.2 kWh LFP battery (GAC's Magazine Battery technology, prized for thermal stability) delivers up to 490 km of range, while the 150 kW front motor produces 201 hp and 255 N·m of instant torque.
DC fast charging via CCS Combo takes the battery from 30–80% in around 30 minutes, with a full AC charge in about 8 hours. Inside, the Y Plus prioritises rear-seat space and everyday usability over flash, with a clean dashboard, large touchscreen infotainment, and a full suite of driver-assistance and connected-car features.
